Speak as the Oracles of God
As I begin sharing what the Lord reveals, I want to tell you a little about myself. I am a believer, a follower of Christ, who has studied the Bible most of my life. The Lord called me to the ministry over 40 years ago and has given me revelation and prophetic insight for fellow believers, who are the body of Christ.
In the beginning of my ministry, the Holy Spirit spoke to me through Jeremiah 1:4-9 "Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying: 5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." 6 Then said I: "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak, for I [am] a youth." 7 But the LORD said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the LORD. 9 Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth."
1 Peter 4:11 "If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles (utterances) of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."
An oracle or prophet is one who speaks for God as inspired by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21 tells us, "for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."
Luke 12:11-12 "Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. 12 "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say." From this we learn that a person can speak under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit without being in the office of a prophet (one who not only forth-tells, which is declaring the will and counsel of God but also foretells which is predictive).
Every pastor, teacher or believer, who is submitted to the Holy Spirit, can speak under His inspiration and anointing.
I pray, as you join me in this blogging journey, that God will speak through me to you.
Perilous times have come upon us. The Spirit of God has shown me that His church has become complacent, apathetic and has fallen asleep. God has been stirring me to speak as He did with Jeremiah, "Then I said, "I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name." But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not." (Jeremiah 20:9)
I pray that the Words God gives me to speak will inspire the church to awaken. If the church does not wake up and become the body of Christ He intended us to be, then, greater tribulation will come upon us until we do as He has commanded.
1 Thessalonians 5: 6 "Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober."
